The meeting opened with the Prayer of Jabez.

Dave asked that we keep Gayle’s father in our prayers.

Janet talked about an article that was carried in the Parma Sun Post about a six week program, “Catholics Coming Home” which the cluster of St. Michael in Independence, Assumption in Broadview Heights and St. Matthias in Parma is presenting for people who have been away from the Church for years. The Evangelization Commission’s ongoing project is “The 5000”; folks who are registered in the parish but do not attend Mass.

The theme for Advent this year is “The Little Drummer Boy”. Cards will be printed to pass out to the parishioners with a picture of “The Little Drummer Boy”. A verse will be printed on the bottom and “What gift are you giving” on the top of the card. The “Forgiving Tree” will again be placed in the back of the church along with the “Giving Tree”.

Dave will call everyone with the date and time of the next meeting.
