Evangelization Meeting – October 16, 2006
Present: Dave Fuente, Janet Fuente, Jack McLauglin, Colleen Amoroso, Jeannette Brennan, Carolyn Morris, Terry Morris, Marge Mihoci, Jerry Bowers, Mary Ann Bowers, Becky LaNasa and Kim Nestelle
Dave Fuente led the group in the opening prayer.

Dave and Janet attended the Stewardship meeting and said that Stewardship would like our help in passing out the booklets after the Masses during the month of November.
We are updating the roster. Please give your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to Kim.
Dave had a meeting with Father Dave and presented the ideas for Advent and Christmas handouts. Father looked at all four. For Advent he chose Jack’s saying, which starts “ Seasons come and season’s go”. To explain the significance behind the handouts Dave wrote a short “witness” that the priests could say after the Masses starting December 3rd. The handouts will be in the back of the church beginning with Advent and continuing through New Year’s. Father loved Jeannette’s idea of the Chaplet of Mercy for Christmas. He prefers the original version of the card, the picture on the front and the prayer on the back. Further discussion centered on how many to order and the cost of the Advent and Christmas handouts. Father wants to use Jerry’s idea of the card with a drawing of the altar as a future project for the “5000”, those folks on the parish roster who are registered but do not participate.
During open discussion Dave reminded everyone to continue greeting parishioners before each Mass. Plus, anyone needing additional materials to use for visits to the new parishioners please see Dave.
Dave will contact everyone with the date of the next meeting.
