Building Rental
PEP will provide its own maintenance and
cleaning personnel. They will pay 17% of the utilities based on square
footage. A single fee was developed to cover the partial usage of the Bell
Tower and gym. The details of the snow plowing must be negotiated. Parking
spaces for 18 vans will be provided in the rear parking lot. The final
disposition of the trailer supplied by Parma Schools still must be determined.
The value of the trailer has to established and it may be part of an auction
in the summer. If it is used it will be moved to the front of the school
adjacent to the Bell Tower kitchen entrance.
Parish Budget
The guidelines for the 08 – 09 budget of a 3 –
3.5% increase in all expenses except utilities; natural gas increase of 15%,
electrical at 10%, water and sewer of 6.5%. and property tax increase of 2%
were agreed to by the other cluster parishes.
A rough budget for the parish and school was
prepared and discussed based on the above guidelines. The school must be
considered since we must continue to pay our teachers through August. The
budget cannot be finalized until the 07 – 08 financial report is completed.
Maintenance Contract
The use of a maintenance contract to accomplish
our maintenance, grass cutting and snowplowing was discussed. This type of a
contract might enable us to reduce some our other service contacts depending
on the qualifications of the contracted staff. There is at least one company
interested in performing our maintenance.
