Parish Financial Report Review
The annual financial report to the diocese has been submitted and we will present it to the parish on the weekend of December 2 - 3. The reports will be published in the bulletin and discussed by a member of the council during the homily.
Only one contractor has evaluated the roofs as of today.
The parish budget was evaluated. The critical areas are the anticipated reduction of $133,728 in Bingo income. This reduction exceeds the anticipated gain from the termination of the Heritage Building lease.
Overall in 2006-2007 our revenue decreased by 8.2% while the expenses increased by 8.4%.
An interim financial report will be prepared at the end of November to evaluate against the budget.
Mark Palko agreed to prepare a financial report on the Daycare Center to evaluate the need for tuition increases. The last increase was two years ago.
The Pre-school program must be self-sufficient. Mrs. Updegrove will provide some project numbers on enrollment.
Gift Certificate Program Expansion
The program will be expanded for three weekends in November to meet the need for Christmas shopping. The last weekend for this year will be December 2nd. It will resume on January 5 – 6. There may be some expanded options at that time.
