Update provided by Father Dave.
The Gift Certificate Program is open to the entire parish. Starting in November, certificates will be sold each week after every Mass.
Anyone from Parish Council that is able to help with the sale of the gift certificates was asked to call Cindy Rosko to let her know when they are available.
Father Dave asked the Parish Council to decide where the money generated from this program should be used. After discussion the options were narrowed down to the general school operating fund, or the technology fund. We will get input from the PTU and decide at a future meeting.
There was over $1,100 worth of certificates sold in the first week netting a $65 profit to the school. It is understood that this program is just starting and the goal is to help it to grow.
Update provided by Father Dave
Father Dave along with the Pastors of the other parishes met with the Bishop last week to discuss the flood damages at St. Peter the Apostle. The Bishop approved the needed repairs to the Church and community hall.
The cluster will be reduced by one church and one priest. This will happen with either the closing of one church or the merger of two churches. Further discussion will continue at the cluster meetings.
Update provided by Dan Zawadzki
The Evangelization Committee did a great job in organizing the new member luncheon. Approximately 30 new members attended along with representatives from the various SJB parish committees.

PSR is collecting personal care items at the PSR office during the month of November. All donations will be given to the Westside Catholic Center.
Special projects for the PSR included junior high school students preparing sandwiches for the homeless and special education students making blankets for the Arupe House. They plan on making 5-6 blankets to donate.
Presented by Dan Zawadzki
Parish Council members are asked to reach out to the various SJB ministries. The purpose is to get feedback from parish members about their ministry’s needs and goals and then communicate their discussions to the Parish Council.
Members will attend various meetings over the next several months. Vicki will meet with MOMS, Kathy will attend the Ladies Guild meeting, and Teri will meet with PTU and the Charismatic Prayer group. Other ministries will be schedule in the future.
Dan will be contacting members from the PHAT and Family Life committees to get an update on their status.
Update provided by Kathy Jasany
The next Donut Sunday is November 4th and will be sponsored by Parish Council, MOMS Support Group and the Stewardship Committee.
Each member is asked to submit three goals for the parish. Ideas can be sent to Dan before the next meeting or brought to the meeting for brainstorming and discussion.
Father Dave would like to get an accurate parish census. We currently have two conflicting numbers. He would also like to invite representatives of the Evangelization Committee to a Parish Council meeting to talk about ideas and offer our support in the effort to increase our parish membership.
Submit any suggestions for new members for the Parish Council to Dan.
The meeting ended at 8:30 p.m. with the closing prayer led by Jim Gutosky.
The next meeting is scheduled for November 27, at 7:00 p.m.
